Walnut Street Gallery is a full service Art Gallery and Custom Frame shop! The gallery was started by Max and Pat Brewbaker in 1982, In April of 1999 the Gallery was purchased by the Drue Wolfe family, with asperations to make the Walnut Street Gallery the best Art and Custom Framing Gallery in the Des Moines Metro area. In July of 2008 Dave and Jen Walter purchased the Gallery, and are eager to carry on the same traditions as well as create some new ones of there own. “Our ultimate goal is to carry on the same standard of excellence in the custom frame and print industry that was set before us, so please say “hi” next time you are in the area or send me a quick email. Walnut Street Gallery is located on the corner of third and Walnut Street in “Uptown Ankeny” …the quiet “old downtown” district of the growing community of Ankeny. Ankeny is in the heart of Iowa, just 15 minutes north of Des Moines, off of Interstate 35.
The staff of Walnut Street Gallery is committed to providing you with the finest product we can and our business has exploded because satisfied customers have told others about us. We are also committed to the industry standard for protecting and preserving your works of art. You will often hear us giving a customer advice about conservation or museum mounting and the use of appropriate framing materials.
